Viceminister Shang Yong says that the aim of China International Nanotech Innovation Park is to build an internationalized nanotech innovation platform and demonstration base for independent innovation by fully utilizing global resources.

Besides, SIP Bionanotech Park signed cooperation agreements with venture capital investment companies.

Shang Yong, Viceminister of Science and Technology, Wang Jinhua, Deputy Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, Xu Nanping, Vicemayor of Suzhou, etc. in SIP to unveil China International Nanotech Innovation Park, which aims to build clusters of nanotech development and research and industrialization in China.

Other guests at the ceremony include Feng Jichun, Director of Department of International Cooperation of Ministry of Science and Technology, Wang Rong, Executive Member of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee. He hopes that the Park will play leading role in Chinas nanotech R&D, innovation, and industrialization as place of concentration for domestic and overseas nanotech enterprises, technological talents, and investment. Besides, SIP Bionanotech Park signed cooperation agreements with venture capital investment companies.

China International Nanotech Innovation Park is to build an internationalized nanotech innovation platform and demonstration base for independent innovation by fully utilizing global resources. At the ceremony, SIP and Finnish National Bureau of Technology signed MOU on Cooperation in Joint Nanotech Development and Research and Industrialization, CAS Suzhou Nanotech and Nanobionics Institute signed cooperation agreement with Finnish National Technological Research Center, Optical Electronic Center of HK University of Technology, and Sujing Group. Shang Yong, Viceminister of Science and Technology, and Zhang Taolin, Vicegovernor of Jiangsu province, spoke at the ceremony.

Viceminister Shang Yong says that the aim of China International Nanotech Innovation Park will be formed on the basis of the existing CAS Suzhou Nanotech and Nanobionics Institute, SIP Bionanotech Park, and Zhongke Nanotech Industrialization Base in alliance with various nanotech R&D institutions and enterprises and with the personnel backup of Dushu Lake Higher Education Town.
