These batteries just do not last as long so you will have to replace the packs more often. Sadly, its still zero sum gain or negative sum gain.Cant these folks it through there thick skulls that hydrogen isnt going to be cheap, unless the That would be less efficient than just running off of the batteries. In this case, the core technology sounds viable. Thats great except anything that creates produces hydrogen via electrolysis requires at least as much energy to free up the hydrogen as you back from the hydrogen to run your car.

Nuke power is the safest, cleanest form of electric power. just using power straight from the onboard batteries, and lot of extra weight, so it just doesnt make sense. It might make sense if you were to use the stuff. In this case, the core technology sounds viable. That would be great because you wouldnt have those massive battery arrays that run hybrids and electric cars.JamesSee you have big battery pack that runs the electrolysis machine to make the hydrogen to run the engine.

It might make sense if you were to use the stuff. If they can up to 96 for both electrolysis and fuel cell conversion like they are targeting, they will be competitive with lithium ion batteries for efficiency, but who knows about total energy density, or power density.Their little comment about producing hydrogen ondemand from tank of water in your car while you drive was definitely snakeoily though maybe their president Kevin Maloney is fullobaloney just to pump up investors. France is freeing themselves from OPEC blackmail, by mass building Nuke power plants.

The amount of fuel left over is so minute and has dangerous radioactive life of less than years. Spent fuel rods are not danger. They are much more simple. Also, what were talking about with molecular manufacturing is not science, its engineering and engineers as standard do lot of design and calculation before they build something. Comment subject Comment No HTML except lower case italic tags or lower case bold tags, please or Your name Your email We need your email in case we need to contact you about the comment.

Nanotechnology is used to refer to anything from hypothetical machine on an atomic scale to bunch of carbon nanotubes in soot what did you mean by it? introduced the term nanotechnology in the mid1980s to describe technology based on molecular machine systems that are able to build more molecular machine systems, and wide range of products. My favourite example of that would be molecular machine system comparable in size to small collection of protein molecules that would read genome in very short order.

Are researchers doing this work right now? The key implementing technology is the ability to build complex, atomically precise structures.

The term was intrinsically very generic. The contribution of molecular machines systems, which are analogous to those we see working in biology, is to mechanically position reactive molecules where you want it to happen and lets you build complex structure you dont have the control necessary to bring new pieces into place in the right location.

Such systems typically consist of oil droplets at the core surrounded by shell of nanometer thick layers. The shell is comprised of different polyelectrolytes. While it is difficult to engineer the interfaces to be completely impermeable to compounds in the bulk phase that interact with the encapsulated compounds, the rate of permeation can often be significantly reduced, thus increasing the kinetic stability of the bioactives, the scientists stated.

While it is difficult to engineer the interfaces to be completely impermeable to compounds in the bulk phase that interact with the encapsulated compounds, the rate of permeation can often be significantly reduced, thus increasing the kinetic stability of the bioactives, the scientists stated. Nanostructured multiple emulsions can be another area of work, used to create delivery systems with novel encapsulation and delivery properties. In contrast, applications of nanotechnology within the food industry however, many of these be difficult to adopt commercially because they are either too expensive or too impractical to implement on an industrialscale, the scientists concluded.

Yet the publics concerns have been raised that nanostructured materials could potentially lead to unforeseen health or environmental hazards. The common examples of this are oilinwaterinoiland waterinoilinwater emulsions. Homepage > Innovation > Nanotech research holds... However limited number of nanotechnology applications have commercial potential in the near future includethe molecular design of protective surface systems, surface engineering, and various methods of manufacturing, such as electrospinning and nanofiltration.

The common examples of this are oilinwaterinoiland waterinoilinwater emulsions. likely, the limited application of nanotechnology to the food industry will change as nanofabrication technologies become morecosteffective, they suggest. Such areas include the development of functional ingredients such as drugs, vitamins, antimicrobials, antioxidants, flavorings, colourants, and preservatives. Association colloids could be another fertile area for commercialisation.
